Transition from traditional analog CCTV to the modern world of IP Surveillance. This course provides a hands-on deep dive into the hardware and software required to build scalable, high-definition security networks.

You will learn the technical foundations of Network Video Recording (NVR), Power over Ethernet (PoE) budgeting, and IP address management specifically for security hardware. The curriculum covers everything from physical camera placement and lens selection to the integration of VMS (Video Management Software) and remote monitoring via cloud platforms. We also explore the cutting edge of the industry: Edge Analytics, where cameras use AI to perform facial recognition, license plate recognition (LPR), and perimeter intrusion detection.
