This module focuses on the strategic and regulatory layer of cybersecurity. While technical tools defend the perimeter, Cyber Resilience and Compliance (CRC) ensures the entire organization can survive a successful breach and meet legal obligations.

You will move beyond "blocking and tackling" to study how large organizations manage digital risk. You will learn how to implement international frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and NDPA (Nigeria Data Protection Act). The course covers Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR), and the audit process. This module is essential for those aiming for leadership roles, such as Information Security Managers, Compliance Officers, or GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Analysts.

What will i learn?

• Implement Governance Frameworks: Apply NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, and CIS controls to organizational infrastructure.
• Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify, analyze, and prioritize technical and operational risks using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Ensure Data Privacy: Navigate the requirements of the GDPR and Nigeria’s NDPR/NDPA to ensure legal data handling.
• Design Resilience Plans: Create high-level Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans that minimize downtime during an outage.
• Manage Audits: Prepare an organization for internal and external security audits and manage the remediation lifecycle.
